About Rachel D'Cruze...
Rachel was born in Brighton. Her involvement with TV, Film & Theatre spans over 10 years. Rachel's career started at the BBC as secretary to Alan Yentob (Controller BBC2) and then as PA to Jonathan Powell (Controller BBC1). She then moved to production in BBC Drama Films working for Producers Peter Goodchild & Gub Neal with BBC Screen One credits, such as, Trust Me & The Hummingbird Tree. In 1993, Rachel trained as 3rd Assistant Director with Granada Television and worked on the first series of Cracker (Granada TV); a quick promotion to 2nd Assistant Director followed and she continued to work as 2nd AD with credits such as Hearts & Minds (Channel 4), The Bare Necessities (Channel 4), London Bridge (Carlton TV) and the feature film: In the Name of The Father (Hell's Kitchen).
During 1993-1996 Rachel became DSM / Production Manager for the Co-Active Theatre Factory involved in Unidentified Human Remains & The True Nature of Love and The Ugly Man. In 1995 Rachel became Company Manager for Lift, The London International Festival of Theatre.
Her association with Incisor Productions, as Resident Producer began in December 1999 with the Edinburgh success, I Know What you Want. Rachel now lives in London with her husband James and daughter, Grace India.
